About the Shomrei Emunah East Synagogue

A registered investment advisor, Ezri Shechter works at CM Capital Partners where he handles the investment allocation of high-net-worth clients. Ezri Shechter is one of the founders of Shomrei Emunah East Synagogue, a local Jewish synagogue in Englewood, New Jersey.

Located just a 20-minute drive away from Manhattan, the Shomrei Emunah East Synagogue is a Jewish Orthodox sanctuary. The congregation is passionate about upholding the moral and spiritual values of the Talmudic Jewish law and jurisprudence (Halacha). This passion is an inherent characteristic of Orthodox Judaism.

Each member of the Shomrei Emunah East Synagogue is devoted to the recitation of prescribed Judaic liturgical prayers (davening). The congregation gathers daily for communal worship (minyanim). Rabbi Menachem Genack, the synagogue’s Rav, offers Talmudic study sessions (shiurim). The children gather in groups during the Shabbat services.

The elegantly-designed Shomrei Emunah East Synagogue features a beautiful bath (Mikveh) where purification rituals are performed, an Eruv which allows family activities that are normally forbidden in public places during the Sabbath, a Yeshiva day school, and a Yeshiva High School.
